Exhibition at Ølstykke Bibliotek

Previous

I am currently exhibiting some of my latest works at the Egedal Library in Ølstykke, close to Copenhagen. The exhibition casts an eye over the aesthetic splendor of the mid-twentieth century as a celebration of the modernist spirit. The large-format works lead us to a time when the future was brighter than ever.

I enjoy spending some of my little free time playing with textures, light and shades in the painting, it’s the perfect counterpart to my daily work in digital development in the tech industry.

“Telling more with less”

Frederiksborg Amts Avis, 2 Aug. 2019

Despite the large formats, the exhibition appears minimalist. The black and white advertising style reviews classical subjects, from Adam and Eve to Greek mythology.

Previously I have exhibited in Humlebæk, in South Funen and several places in Spain.

I hope you will enjoy it.

The Author Ricardo Cámara

Like millions of people, I consider myself modern, but I felt an urge to explore what lies behind the idea of modernism and its positive attitude toward innovation.
